Any perspectives on Japanese Peruvians?or Chinese diaspora folks in general?I know 40% of Thailand is Chinese.sounds absurd but it's true and 50% of them are Teochew also known as gaginang(I prolly misspelled it lol).I know California has loads of teochews especially ones from Vietnam.teochews assimilate much quicker than other Chinese groups like the hakka or hokkien.while Chinese Filipinos have largely assimilated they still have their differences compared to other Filipinos ,communal behaviors and lots of times marry with other Chinese Filipinos while in Thailand there are more Chinese Thai mixes than there are more who are born to two Chinese parents

Most Chinese Filipinos are hokkien and they have been there in the Philippines for centuries
