20% increase sucks, but spending 20 on a bird last year that went up to 24 isnt outrageous. Its adds up w everything else but I agree, why substitute. Not on thnxgiving anyway. I think its so popular because its in a can.. not something youd have to freeze or handle like a perishable. Like top ramen and spam for camping lol

apple would be my 2nd choice & im not really into pumpkin …it’s ok but imo never the best choice by far

& yep probs the cold weather has us all stuck inside …this place is small but I think we have really good conversation here & have gotten to know each other a lot better bc there are so few of us here

oh yeah you can get a turkey this time of year for 1.99 a pound. ..sale price, .. but theyre everywhere. A small can of spam runs about 4.00, I think its 10-12 ounces ? So by the pound its not a cheap "meat" ..if thats what it is lol.. really dont know. Lots of ppl like it tho, I should try it sometime. My mom wasnt a spam ma'am lol

I think a boatload of spam would be more expensive than a turkey anyway. Its not cheap tbh, its decent price for the amount of weight there. Per pound Id think it would be more than even beef
