No matter how much you change, you still have to pay the price for the things you’ve done. So I got a long road. But I know I’ll see you again; this side or the other - Doug MacCray voice-over, THE TOWN.

Offended native folks?lol there's barely any left and I don't mean the ones in American soil.yeah if not Columbus then someone else will open the road to travel to the americas.it's inevitable.it's the male innate nature to be innovative, adventurous and build

I heard Columbus and his brother Bartholomew has descendants in the new world as does Juan ponds de Leon.have a nice weekend jp

hmm, I think kids process adult humor in animation/cartoons the same way we did - it goes over their heads till they’re adults and then they see it again and are like - WHHHHHHAT?!?? ...lol ....although eating the gingerbread man might qualify as dark humor more so than adult humor >.>

and yeah, I saw the preview of Andy grilling Ericka ...tbh, I kinda feel like Ericka knew - like probably she didn’t know the particulars, but he (Tom) put $25Mil in her bank acct ...obv attorneys do well, but that well?? ...and that’s just the side money he gave her ...their lifestyle was on celebrity status, not even EXTREMLY wealthy lawyer status ....I think she knew something was up but chose to play the dumb trophy wife role ...bc she’s not dumb at all & it was benefiting her

you seem the pics of Scott from the other day? ...he’s back to looking the way I like him to look - you think he’s been reading our commments??? ....lol I bet he is, JP :D

Good afternoon mon frere! Thank you for your kind reply. It is very much appreciated. I'll try to get back to you with one of my own at some point. I'm just not in great spirits right now, so I dunno what to say. Not really in a chatty mood. But do know that your continued friendship is much valued. Have a great weekend!

Since communism was quite popular in toskeria(South Albania)it helped ease what sectarian differences

I'm sure if Pakistan was under a state atheist commhnist regime then there would be shitloads of marriages between folks coming from different denominations in their background but United by a common ideology.the only divide would be communist vs non-communist instead of sectarian or other traditional barriers

Orthodox Albanians probably have Aromanian and Bulgarian heritage while the bektashi Albanians possibly have a cocktail of various ancestries as South Albania became the headquarters of the bektashi faith despite not originating from there but gaining ground so practitioners of bektashism came all the way from Anatolia,Iraq,Greece,Egypt and even Crimea to escape from the somewhat more Sunni heteroorthodox surroundings they came from

The Brits brought British common law and some infrastructure in India otherwise English is still not widely spoken outside of urban centers.maybe it's the protestant work ethic or the centralized authority, culture and identity that existed before is the reason

Have a nice upcoming weekend :)

That's why it's referred to as the great unknown :/

I don't think colonialism has had much of a direct influence on the Arabian peninsula outside of the growth of wahabbism which was a counter reaction to European influences of the time.while Islam has existed since the 7th century, the radical Islam folks are familiar with started in the 1800s.in the past the difference between orthodox Islam and Islam that was seen as heretical(i.e sufism) wasn't defined.after all it was sufi missionaries who are responsible for the spread of islam in the first place not Saudi funded madrassas which is a recent phenomena

https://nypost.com/2021/10/05/10-year-old-died-of-covid-after-teacher-made-her-class-nurse-parents/

A pathogen (man made or otherwise) continues to write the narrative. Not sure how you all feel, but 10 year old kids should not be dying. If true about the teacher’s actions, the school district should be ashamed of themselves.

Well I know many special needs students in Indian schools are muslim(you know, cousin marriage).a bit overrepresented for their percentage.I know someone did dna test results on Muslim Indians and many have the paternal haplogroup j especially many shia in india.haplogroup j comes from the middle east.plus many Gujarati Muslims are light brown skinned with hooked noses and curly hair while many South Indians have wavy hair

So there's some nuanced differences between Muslims and Hindus in the country.Pakistan is listed as a failed state.I forgot by whom
