It's ridiculous. People are more concerned with their "Gun rights" than the fact that there are people getting shot down for no apparent reason except for just being at that particular place at that particular moment. It's scary but I refuse to live in fear. That's when they truly defeat us if we live in non-stop fear.

Good to hear you are well and is nawt so bad where you are.
My boyfriend is American and he keep me knowledgeable of shootings and racial disparity that continue to exist there and everywhere. Last summer the riots were scary but necessary I think. My bf rioted, this worry me for his safety but I realise is important to do. Most Japanese are pacifist but I consider myself progressive and anti-racist. Is definitely no easy fix to this situation of inequality and injustice.
Yeah Olympics will be different to expected. At least is continuing forward. This show progress and triumph I think. Hopefully all goes well and humanity will move past COVID to better times awaiting. Everything happen for a reason.
