A few days ago, I had a similar conversation with Jim. What does this kind of diplomacy signify? It struck me that this is exactly what Nixon did when he traveled to China in 1972. I wonder if such an approach has become a thing of the past in our day and age.
Diplomacy is increasingly being overshadowed by security and power politics.
Has Europe learned the art of diplomatic strategy? It is possible to maintain a firm stance toward Putin while still negotiating with Moscow. One can criticize Israel while continuing to maintain diplomatic relations. One can view China as a competitor while still engaging in dialogue.
Diplomacy does not mean having no red lines. Rather, it means that communication can continue even after those red lines have been crossed. Who, then, is still building bridges, while everyone else is busy fortifying their front lines?

I don’t know much about Serbia.i know more about Crna Gora/Montenegro.even the so called Serbs in my family, they were from Montenegro 🇲🇪
You do know many Serbs are part Montenegrin right??cause many of the provinces in Serbia liberated by Serbs from the Ottomans encouraged Montenegrin as well as Bosnian Serbs to resettle the abandoned villages/houses
