Well In my culture the standard practice is the youngest son with his wife helps the ailing parent(I'm from a old world culture,many Albanians even in New York keep that practice alive)but no wifey for me but I do have what would be seen as traditionally female traits like nurturing,cleaning a bit etc so I make lemonade out of lemons with these existing scenarios

You had covid?ouch!at least you are alive and healthy.my sis simply has irregular heartbeat.I'm from a agrarian community that's divided by a thinly veil of religion but underneath it's basically another tribalistic society similar to the Amish/Afrikaaners and Ashkenazi jews limited gene pool breeding and health related problems included so I guess that puts me into the compromised immune category.so far no covid thank goodness but I have my sweet sweet coffee with me by my side

Cheryl's mother can't really do much cleaning in her house while my mother has to hold onto things,I hope I cleared up any confusions haha.yeah I'm 26 and my mother is 72 so I can't really live in my prime plus she was a widow while Albanians tend to prefer delicate unflowered virgins as brides not widows of men who died from a illness.I hope your mother at least has walkers with her,so far my own mother never used the walkers.she became too comfortable holding onto the walls to walk instead and she can't take calcium pills or bone density medication cause she is afraid of what reaction would happen with her atorvastaton prescription

I thought you still live there in ca but that's my guess.but that's the aging process for ya,it can have a effect on a psyche.I know Cheryl is taking care of her elderly mother who has a hard time cleaning her own apartment due to immobility plus I think she had cpd before but yeah it's a toll.She's feeling better but she always has to hold on to things like the wall for instance otherwise she would fall for something as basic as going to the bathroom :(
