My failure, at times, to pay current bills has made me pack them away. No need to listen to my roommates wail and moan, but they are probably right. I met an OLD TIMER once and he told me that his A.C. was a block of ice harvested from a frozen river, stored away in sawdust and what not, brought to his house at a later date, placed in a metal container to catch the melt, and a FAN's ability to waft off of that cold gave them some welcomed relief.
