What's more, they are in complete denial about having been colonized. Even though they speak English and have the queen of England, not Britain as their head of state. The Scots were colonized by the Irish even before the English, which gives them their Gaelic culture and identity, something that they are also in denial about.

The Scots are a conservative, racist ass backwards people. You never see any black r'n'b stars coming out of Scotland the way you do in Ireland. There was once a documentary tv series on Irish tv, called "The Irish Empire" which, in each episode, showed how the Irish changed the world in many ways. From Louis Brennan's invention of the monorail, to Ernest Walton being the first physicist to split the atom, to Dr Francis Rynd inventing the hypodermic syringe, and John Phillip Holland inventing the world's first submarine, and many more. It was fascinating.
