Happy Saturday! I just read your comment over on Baloo's channel and it made me laugh. I too couldn't understand one word of the video, but I agree it was pretty hot!

So how are you liking this place? Are you getting more used to the futures? It seems to be working really well on my end. I don't see anything that really needs to be changed except for a few minor glitches here and there. Overall it's a pretty good site.

The rain was intense, and lots of local flooding, but all is good in the hood!

Thank you, Blaine, for saying that! It really means a lot. I haven’t heard anything more about Dad’s condition, so I’m hoping no news is good news. I will say we’re definitely feeling this cold blast right now, and there’s even a chance of snow on Thanksgiving. Are you experiencing this too?

I pretty much lost interest in the NFL season. Did you watch the game last night? I'm not even sure who played.

The big storm has finally arrived. Being hit with torrential rain as we speak. I'm hoping we don't have any local flooding, but they're not that great about cleaning the storm drains around here so we'll see what happens. I'll catch up with you later after work!

I'm so sorry to hear you're dealing with pneumonia, Blaine, but I’m glad you’re staying strong and winning the battle—hang in there and never give up!

As for me, my dad is going through a really rough time. He recently had lung cancer surgery, but something went wrong, and he needed a second operation because he was bleeding into his chest cavity. It was a close call—he could have died. Then, just today, my mom told me he took off his oxygen, and they found him unresponsive. He passed out, and if things had been worse, they would’ve had to perform CPR. That’s two life-threatening situations in just a few days.

What makes it even harder is that my family is spread out—my parents live in Corpus Christi, Texas, while my brother and I are in Missouri. It’s tough being so far apart when things like this happen. It’s been one thing after another, but I’m doing better now than I was a few weeks ago.

Morning bud! Yeah, we do the exact same thing that you guys do. It's a tradition to decorate the day after Thanksgiving. We do pretty much the same thing, except we normally get live Christmas trees. However, the last couple of years we have not gotten a large tree due to certain four legged mischief makers, lol. I completely agree with you about the outdoor lighting. Too much of an increase on the electric bill!
