lol at what you said about Prince. I was never a fan either, to tell you the truth, I found him irritating. But, in recent years I have started to appreciate his music, the kind of music I would have stuck my rocker nose up at, once upon a time.

I agree with what you said about us all living in our own little bubble these days. It's not what I had expected either, when I thought about the future as a kid. It leaves you feeling isolated. There are still a handful of TV shows which seems to be popular with a broad audience though. One being "The Big Bang Theory". I watched the very last ever episode of it just now. I'm not sure when it first aired. Despite loving that show, I found it very hard to follow because different networks here, aired it at different times of the week and the day and night. So this was my first time to see it. The writers gave it a great send off, very heart warming and it was sad that this would be the last time I would get to see the gang. All good things must come to an end.

i was at the private office of the dept of motor vehicles.
our "state" govt privatized them years ago, to save paying union office staff $60 per hour.
in my neighborhood, the motor vehicle registration office is run by 123 India corp of cda.
they specialize in taking bribes over $10,000 for drivers licences and other debauchery.
i had an interaction with the EPS (edmonton police service) and the cop gives me shit because my phone number is not on my digital licence. then i explained i get my documents from India and he apologized ,
so i had to go to the Motor vehicle office and chew them a new butt hole !
