The leaders of Germany, France and Britain are calling on Iran to return to the negotiating table following unprecedented US attacks on key Iranian nuclear sites.
"We call upon Iran to engage in negotiations leading to an agreement that addresses all concerns associated with its nuclear program," read a joint statement by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
In Sunday's statement, which according to the German government was adopted on Merz's initiative, the three leaders reaffirm their commitment to peace and stability for all countries in the region and their support for Israel's security.
