oh yeah, definitely have those same issues w quality control, or quality decline i should say. A kitchen mixer would last 40 years, they still sell the ones from the 50s as "vintage" and they still run better than the new ones. I bought a good brand last year, it just whipped everything to death and then died lol. It wouldnt slow down >_<

Electronics - vehicles - tools - appliances - its all junk made to break down the year the warranty expires. That's life in the big city. Beer is still cheaper by the truckload, and you have a truckload.
