I see that Turkish player was suspended for two games, for making that gesture. He should have known better, in what is a European competition. No need to worry ... your English is good, my friend ... a lot better than my German. Hopefully, the game is PEACEFUL ~~~ as it should be. And I know what you meant about Riny and the Dutch people ... more sympathetic, if I am right. FRANCE won on penalty kicks and they get to face Spain (Tuesday, in Munich). Have a Good Night's rest over there, Bear, and a relaxing Sunday. Boring night over here ~~~ I am OFF to see if there may be a movie on the TV. ENJOY whatever you may be doing. :)

I didn't get to see any of the game, but I heard the score ~~~ like you said, Bear, Germany played well. I did hear that there was a non-call on a Spanish player and for a handball. Plus, I heard the ref was giving out an inordinate number of YELLOWS. 'tis what it is, my friend ... I see that Toni Kroos played in his last game and is to retire. Anyway, Roy, I am watching the FRANCE game, as I type ... I am quickly OFF and not to miss a GOAL ... enjoy the rest of your evening over there and a GREAT START to the new week. What's that chant that the soccer crowds sometimes start ... Olé, Olé. Olé ... O ... lé!
