The skateboarder riding the lip makes me think of Tony Alva and the ZEPHYR skateboard team. Yeah, LORDS OF DOGTOWN introduced me to that situation that found itself to CALI ~~~ the water rationing in the 1970's and guys like Tony, Jay Boy (Adams), and Stacy (Peralta) scoping empty pools to ride the lip ~~~ same as the surfers carving up a wave. Perhaps, in a former life, I knew all this. Same reason that I am drawn to ENSENADA and their beautiful weather pattern.
Just a quick flyby, Bro, to wish your weekend well and - as well - to throw down Good Wishes for the Summer that soon begins. Here's hoping that SUMMER 2025 brings some COOL new things your way. I hear you on the heat, Primo ~~~ we're supposed to hit 100°, next week (midweek). Factor in any humdity and the indices will be triple digit. THANKS, for the Cali roller-skater. Did you ever see BOOGIE NIGHTS? It's kind of campy and, in its presentation, sad (character trajectories), but ua gotta love Heather Graham's ROLLER GIRL. By the way, she still looks GOOD for her age.
And - YEAH - the incendiary nature of a country's IRE can certainly sway the promise of continued warring. Let's hope that Iran and Israel set aside their differences, but - considering what I see - that's highly unlikely. HAVE A GREAT START TO SUMMER, TONY.
