its spotted gum....a eucalypt, a native hardwood....really nice wood 2 work with, very heavy when u pick it up, more than ud expect...thats a green house room im building off the back of the house, gets heaps of light in the afternoon.....

Yeah, it was sad to hear about Donald Sutherland's passing ~~~ he was a true gentleman and it was our privilege to be entertained by his acting mastery. Yeah, Dafoe is one of America's or Hollywood's hidden gems ~~~ he caught our attention, in PLATOON, as Sgt. Elias. I liked him in WHITE SANDS with Mickey Rourke. By the way, here's a clip from my favorite Donald Sutherland movie. Many point to KELLY'S HEROES and that talented ensemble cast but I liked him in this one. He was also good in a western (FORSAKEN) that he did with his son Kiefer. I hope this finds you enjoying your Sunday, Tony ~~~ have a Great Night out there and enjoy the last full week of June. Yeah, Tony, the one thing you can say about sharks is that they are persistent in their unfolding. No pun intended but I wonder how many seals hang out at Seal Beach. According to the sharks 🦈, they make for a tasty treat. I heard once that we share something in common with the shark's DNA ... the ability to shed and grow new teeth. But, in humans, that trait is supposedly dormant. Anyway, my good friend, here's hoping this short note finds you doing well. THANKS, for the well wishes. Until the mothership🛸comes to take us on a new adventure, continue to stay SAFE out there and keep your part of CALI COOL. :)
