My sis has a friend who's from a Catholic Albanian background from the town of bajze which literally borders Montenegro.she joined the Pentecostal church and tried to get her involved with the faith too.eventually she settled down with a full blooded Albanian Catholic guy from Croatia(yes they exist but his family is originally from Kosovo)and they are still together and have a son.which proves love conquers all or maybe tribalism conquers all though Kosovo doesn't have a clan based identity and bajze has a reputation of being a communist town and unfortunately loose women so I shot myself in the foot right there lol

All the evangelicals in Kosovo are from Muslim convert backgrounds from a century ago but the number is so small to begin with like in the 10s or 100s.I know the bulk of the prod folk in Cyprus are from the Bulgarian Turkish minority.how exotic.never knew most blacks in Louisiana are Baptists.I take it they come from other parts of the u.s since Louisiana had the reputation of being the most Catholic state in America.I'd figure most Irish and Italians in your state assimilated into the Cajun culture

Barely any protestants in the part of Albania that I am from but there are lots of proddy folk in the capital and parts of South Albania.the converts backgrounds are a mix between orthodox and Muslim though the Muslims are not the Sunni types but the bektashi types a obscure denomination that survived in Albania but died elsewhere from Sunni conformists seeking it as heretical.the Catholics are mostly Catholic in name only.if anything they practice tribalism more so than Catholicism if you want a blunt answer

Orthodox Christianity has a wider array of liturgical languages and are a bit more endemic/ethnic centered compared to the more globalist Catholic faith despite orthodox Christians as a whole numbering no more than 300+ million.I know in Slovakia and Western Ukraine there's more recorded interactions between the orthodox and the Catholics

Not so much orthodox Albanian but more like Orthodox Serbian or Orthodox Russian.I dont think Albanian Catholics are exposed to Orthodox Albanians but I take it they are exposed to the Serbian Orthodox community weighed they want it or not.the orthodox church in Shkodra belongs to the small Serbian/Montenegrin minority though they probably speak Albanian
