actually koukla, i turn it into assets like clean drinking water, ammo, beans and rice...when this all goes down paper money will be worthless...the most recent example of this scenario playing out was in the 90's in kosovo...there's a lot to unpack there and i type too slow but if you really want to know i'll stop drinking and tell you everything.

there is something to what cranky is saying but it will probably happen on a friday and then on the following monday they will declare a "bank holiday"...that's when everyone loses everything and the banks will all be closed for a while...when they re-open everyone will be left with pennies on the dollar...if you want to be safe just keep enough in the bank every month to pay the bills for the month and stash the rest somewhere safe.
