I'm distracted by my studies tbh. Here’s my latest assignment. I was tasked with designing a logo for Ventry Wines, an Irish wine distributor located in Kerry. The logo shows the "V" for Ventry in Silver, which doubles as a wine glass, overlaid on top of a "W" in gold for Wines. Contained within the "V" shaped wine glass is a splash of wine. I was also asked to come up with a tagline or slogan for Ventry Wines. The slogan I came up with was "Better Wines For Great Times”. The “V” acting as a wine glass, is what is known in advertising as a “hidden asset”, and was part of the assignment brief. We were asked to design a hidden asset within the logo. A good example of a hidden asset in a well known logo, would be the right facing arrow in the FedEX logo. You’ve probably already noticed it, but if you haven’t. It’s white, and located between the letter “E” and the letter “X”.

I’ve also sent you the GIF version of this logo. It’s the same thing again, but the wine can be seen pouring into the letter “V”.

Yeah, in retrospect, I could have handled that a bit better. But once it is out there ... it's out there. And I am not one to delete the comment to make me look SAINTLY. I know my Dad would shoot me one of those looks and wryly ask me THAT'S THE BEST YOU CAN DO? I did offer Baloo an apology ~~~ that way it's less shit for Jacob to clean up and it is his site which means me doing that indirectly reflects upon him. Not the worst that I have said, though. Have a tornado temper that leaves as fast as it comes and I never ever was a brooder. Yeah, me bad! :)

Anyways, I kind of like it ❤️ I always thought that Kourt was the prettiest and that does show up in that pic. Glad to hear that your daughter stuck with the process of becoming a sorority sister. I hope the contacts she makes awards her with a handful of lifetime friends. That being said: glad that you are enjoying some nice weather. We're coming OFF a late winter snowstorm here and the change in barometric pressure always gives me trouble with one side of my face (sinus cavity). HA!
