i had a few lunches n breakfasts in the manhattan howard johnsons in the 90s....i was amazed at the wastage, they served such giant portions that when the waiters would come n take the plates theyd only be half eaten.....i did like the diner vibe....when we're drivin along route 66 in montanna or somewhere we'll stop at a classic diner full of ranchers n truckers....i imagine ur accent would be just as foreign 2 them as mine....
