This was my fun, day in and day out, and we didn't give a fuck as children. We (well, I did) loved the madness, mayhem, and lawlessness. You could do lots of things and not get caught, as there was so much other stuff going on. I remember seeing recently in a TV interview with a retired police detective who said his district of responsibility, which was a quarter of a mile by a quarter of a mile area, had 187 murders in a 12-month period. Now think: do you think they would be out looking for a bunch of under-10-year-olds with boxes of matches?

As a child I had difficulty fitting in and I always felt as an outsider. I would go as far as saying that I'm likely in the higher functioning end of the autistic spectrum but I have never been formally diagnosed. But i wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. I also had a peculiar approach to sexuality which was that my sexual interactions were such short live that by any means should hold any weight on how I identify myself. So I had 3 very successful relationship with women in my 20's but when things got real I had no problem hooking up w a man who i had an intense relationship for 3/4 months to then bounced back as nothing had happen to continue dating women till I turned 30 and subsequently developing a close relationship w a male/female couple which lasted 12 years but I had known them for 8 years prior.to us getting in to it. For all that time I had no need to entertain a relationship w neither men or women but this relationship came to an end as I aged and my MH was compromised. Something got to give. But Yes I love Ingrid and I had years of fun under the sun with her. But once this wad done I realized that I no longer wanted to engage in further sexual relationships w women yet I will never identify myself as gay male. I think you mistaken my narrative as dwelling in the past. I'm not at all dwelling in the past i'm just giving an explanation on how things came to be. I understand the challenges in being objective but I feel i can explore different hypothesis that may bring light to my human experience . The fact is that we all react differently to our environment and external stimulus. So although many men who had narcissistic mothers who were ragging perfectionists and ultimate a cunts didn't turned to dick and ass to cope with such experience, doesn't mean that none would. My narrative was meant to illustrate that human sexuality is not black and wait . Sexuality can be complex specially if developmentally factors are at play in the form of childhood trauma. It's important for adult w history of childhood trauma to bridge the trauma to how it may possibly be playing a role in unhealthy patterns. It's something that psychotherapists do. Yet, I agree with you.. It also doesn't have to be this complex but often is.
