Speaking of looking good, I was Zooming with a friend of mine for a few hours tonight. I first met her when I was 20. She was a Spanish student that was staying in my house at the time. She looked pretty good back then, fast forward 20 years and she's looking as good as ever. Some people don't seem to age. Plus, even though her English is very good, she makes my heart go all a flutter with her cute accent. Well anyway, during a previous Zoom session, we were really hitting it off. She could tell that I was into her, and she admitted having an attraction to me. Problem is, she's a Jehovah's Witness, and although it is not forbidden for them to date/marry outside their circle, she said it would make things complicated. Her faith is an important part of her life, and she would want any prospective boyfriend/husband to be able to share in it. So she said it could never happen between us, unless I started studying the Bible. She was so beautiful, charming, intelligent, cultured and insightful...everything I could ask for in a woman. But it's not to be. Now I'm more bummed than ever. 😥
