Yes I completely agree. It's a very very nasty thing to do. A very serious accusation. It can ruin a man's entire life. Even if he is acquitted in court, people still say that there's no smoke without fire. That he might have gotten himself a good lawyer. Making a false accusation of that nature really ought to be against the law. Plus, it doesn't help those women who actually have been assaulted.

If you were 20 again, knowing what you now know...would you get married? Even if it was a different guy? I mean, I know that you'd still have to factor your kids into the equation.

Another time she read some texts on his phone, when he was discussing her with me. She went absolutely ape shit, and smashed his phone to pieces by jumping up and down on it. A few months later, he came home from a night out with me, slid into bed with her, and while she was sleeping, started to have his way with her. She woke up and accused him of rape. He was so cut up about it, but she never filed a complaint with the police. So she didn't really believe that he had done that. Still...he was devastated by the accusation. When he told me about it, I told him that he had nothing to worry about, that he hadn't done what she had accused him of doing. So he said something to me like..."yea I guess you're right Mark, she broke my phone and I raped her. I guess that makes us even" I know that, that subject is never funny, but it was the way he said it. I could not stop laughing. lol
