Unfortunately, I saw some of it unfold on one of Nathan’s now defunct CS1 pages. Plus, we’re not part of the copy&paste crowd … so it doesn’t take much to realize that there is a pall over what once was normal conversation. Just came back from an early round of fireworks. I am sorry to hear that, BUT I ask of you a small favor and one to benefit yourself. What has happened with those friends ... LET IT GO! Far too easy for me to be flippant with my request ~~~ for I am for sure that it still stings. But your NEW YEAR is soon to begin ... so any ENMITY that has built up to a crescendo ... EXHALE IT and BREATHE IN THE FRESHNESS OF SOMETHING NEW. Doesn't mean that you need to forget it and the lesson it may teach, but - for the sake of you - JUST LET IT GO. It teaches one the advantage of being somewhat oblivious to our happenings.
More importantly, glad to hear that you enjoyed Spain and the company one finds in a hotel bar. You will see to it before I do, my brother ~~~ so DO IT WELL. Enjoy yourself a fine start to the NEW YEAR 2-0-2-4 and whatever you may do to CELEBRATE its end to a beginning transition. HAPPY NEW YEAR, BROTHA! ENJOY!
