Content Creator — for members who mainly upload their own videos. Gives you protection from trolls: they can't message you or subscribe to you. They can still watch, and lightly react/comment on your videos and channel page specifically, so your view counts and engagement stay real instead of dropping — but that engagement is private, visible only to you (unless you block them), never shown to other visitors, until you click Approve on a specific comment to make just that one fully public. Unlike other members, you can also open a troll's own channel page directly to see who they are before deciding whether to block or friend them, and you'll see trolls' comments and reactions everywhere else on the site by default too — not just on your own content. If you ever want to lift these restrictions for one specific troll (say, someone you've vouched for), just send them a friend request — once they accept, all limitations between the two of you disappear, including making their engagement with you fully public like anyone else's.
Private Society — the strongest protection available, no matter how much or how little you post: trolls get zero ability to interact with you in any way, no exceptions.
