I know in Russian Karelia the Karelians are the fastest assimilating minority since many young Karelians identity as russian.it's better compared to other Russian republics that are a bit more hostile towards the Russian people.for example the Sakha of Yakutia outnumbered Russians in 2002 and were protesting for years against the Russian community.Chechnya is worse.Chechnya has the highest birthrate and the lowest intermarriage rate of all the Russian republics in the Russian federation
