Here for the music and a bit of conversation. Care to discuss politics or religion? No thanks! I don't need your psychosis. I can get to crazy by myself, thanks! Don't like what you see here? Move on.
Haha, I completely understand what you mean about Billy’s “Achy Breaky Heart”! 😂 I was pretty surprised by Miley too once I started actually paying attention to what she could do. There’s definitely a lot more to her than what people see on the surface.
That “Rebel Yell” performance with Billy Idol was badass! 🤘🔥 She absolutely held her own, and you can tell she genuinely loves rock music. I think she’s one of those artists who has gone through a lot of different phases but has really come into her own as she’s gotten older.
And I agree, I think she gets judged pretty harshly sometimes. She seems much more comfortable being herself these days, and I respect that. She’s definitely got some serious talent!
Yeah, it was actually done online through Zoom, which made it really cool because Shane was able to join us from Missouri. There were around 137 people on the Zoom last night, so it was a pretty big group!
As far as what I’m taking away from it, I’m still processing a lot of it because there was so much packed into those three days. I think the biggest thing for me was realizing how much we can carry things from the past without even realizing how much they affect the way we think, react, and communicate with people.
It definitely got me thinking about some things in my own life and some things I probably need to let go of rather than continuing to carry them around. It also opened up some really good conversations between Mom, Shane, and me that probably wouldn't have happened otherwise, and honestly, that alone made it worthwhile.
Was it helpful? I would say yes, although I’m still figuring out exactly what I’m going to take from it long-term. It’s not like you walk away with everything magically fixed. 😂 It’s more like it gives you a different way of looking at things and makes you stop and question some of the stories you’ve been telling yourself.
It was definitely a very interesting experience, and I’m glad Shane encouraged Mom and me to do it. I can see why he got so much out of it when he went through it himself.

It was a lot and definitely very eye-opening. Last night, Shane was able to get on Zoom and join in on the conversation. I think there were 137 people online in total last night!
I have to run, but I’ll fill you in more later when I can get back on. Please take care and rock on, my friend! 🤘
Perhaps, I wasn’t paying attention but they had Rutschman DH’ing this weekend. You know who’s having a MVP season and I am impressed with his stats ~~~ Yordan Alvarez from Houston >>> check out his numbers.
