well I have to say he did let me away with a lot of stuff that would have seen me B& on YT....
but I think he knew I was there for the good and got rid of many Trolls that had infested the site when YT changed hands....all good things come to an end as they say, maybe UpSo and UpStars had run their course.

So what drew you to all of them? Why join each of them?

18th?!! I had no idea there were so many of these kind of sites. How did you go about finding them all? I ask because when YT rid itself of the social networking side of things, I couldn't find anywhere else to go...until I found ZippCast.

Few years ago I was actually using a shared server to store vids with unlimited disk space, and used my laptop to encode videos. Then 3rd server to run the site. But it was too complicated and I got one virtual server to do it all.
If the site grows, I might just get another shared server and a fast computer with vaapi support, then it will be able to handle hundrends of thousands of users at the same time.

It depends on codec, I would use webm codec but it requires good graphics card with Vaapi support, otherwise encoding is very slow. I am thinking of getting a separate cloud server which will have a vaapi graphics and encode vids, it will be another 50 euros/mo, or I might just buy a computer and it will be cheaper.

I will buy a cloud disk space if it will grow. It's not that expensive.
Right now disk usage is only 2%, but it's mostly program files.

I noticed Melissa had been fading away over the past year or so...she hardly ever appeared on the site towards the end of it...and not much happening now to entice her or anyone back to it.

If this place were to close, it would be your 15th closure?
