Yeah, Zuckerberg's META owns INSTAGRAM and, as you said, they do it too. Not sure if it is the case anymore, but FACEBOOK used to have proprietary rights on any and all photographs that people uploaded to the platform. They may have been sued over that, but I'm not sure.
