There’s a pic floating around some of these Twitter feeds; it’s one of Graham, John McCain, and Amy Klobuchar. It was taken along way back and someone was trying to insinuate that America had helped to foment the original democratic push in Ukraine. I know people keep referring to it as “the Ukraine”, but that’s how it was referred to when it was a territory of Russia. Same with Kyiv which should be pronounced kind of like KEY-EFE … but I don’t think trite semantics really has a role in what we all hope is a good outcome.
