There are 6 Trillion miles in one light year lol. It's how far light travels in one year. So a light year isn't a measurement of time, it's a distance.

I'll try and put this in perspective with help from AI. They say this object is 250 million miles from earth, and is expected to be (I think they said near our sun) in 2 months. Here's 250M miles in light years.

our fastest rockets on full blast would take months just to reach there, and it's one of our closets planets. We can't go full blast that entire way tho, a space station would take much longer. So if it's due in a few months? That baby is moving lol ...Fast.

Fast? The fact it can get here at all is fast, Cranky lol. At the speed of light it would take 25,000 years just to reach the end of our own galaxy. Just to reach the edge of our own solar system takes decades with our current capacity for speed. Whenever it arrives it will be right on time. lol, ...Time. I don't think they have the same sense of it, it's how those spaceships can move so far so "fast". It's just layers to them. ...maybe like an onion.
