According to what I've read, it looks like that scorched earth and the remnants of what once were homes will need an awful lot of work (i.e., removing toxic soil) to make it right again, but - for sure - someone will be making $$$ money and it won't be the original homeowners. God only knows what happens to all the displaced people and the now vacant properties. That now that adds part of CALI to what's happened in North Carolina and Hawaii.
