DC is supposedly worth the trip, due to all the National Monuments and some of the museums (i.e., Smithsonian). June is a good time to come ~~~ the weather should be nice and it should be warm enough for him to enjoy some of the CAPE COD beaches. My Dad used to like visiting Marconi Beach (Wellfleet, MA.).
