yes, it's pretty difficult. My last yellow lab. He was like 13...and needed a surgery that was going to cost 5 k and at best he was going to be around 6 to 12 more months, And he needed to be monitored 24/7 and that was back on the day when I was working 2 jobs. I had to let him go that day. It was pretty devastating. Fuck no wonder i turned in to drugs.
