I'm not sure about Chester since you live there and I don't(obviously lol)but I once read that many people in Southwestern England have some Welsh ancestry.that or Cornish ancestry.I think it's second hand information or done by British users of those of British diaspora descent but I once read that Welsh folk spread through England during Britain's industrialization
