Ned ask yourself, how would the current situation benefit the powers that be? Rather than the general populace being wage slaves, and the powers that be getting to spend all of our hard earned tax money on weapons and surveillance, (true instruments of control) they are instead, subsidising all of us, to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars. Your theories make no sense. If this is an attempt by the elites to take control of the world, then it's the dumbest effort in history.
