Yes, my Good Friend, one always needs to be temperate in their consumption. It does not do one's spirit good to hear OH, HERE COMES THAT FUCK-UP AGAIN. I don't go to many clubs and/or bars, for a simple reason. I don't think my hearing is all too bad, but in a busy bar on a busy night ... all the conversations meld into one and seem muddled to me ... and one tires of always having to have others repeat themselves. I like the quiet inhouse bars that one might find in a good hotel and there's less chance of a donnybrook breaking out.

Funny story and somewhat related ~~~ one of my high school track coaches happened to come to practice one day and he was wearing a coat that had blood on it. I was like ... Steve, what happened here? He tells us that he was at a local bar with his cousin and one of them said something to someone ... all he remembered was that he woke up on the sidewalk. HA!

Yeah, SPRING is a magical time of year that holds some metaphorical meaning.
