I've listened to quite a bit of Loftgroover and Lenny Dee. They were about when I was really into raving. Not listened to much if any HMS or Producer but I remember their names on flyers and stuff. Carl Cox is an obvious choice but he was great 89-93 for hardcore.

I can understand driving around to get a signal. I had to use coat hangers to hear Key 103 in Manchester for Stu Allan. Good times when music was actually valued. YT and the internet means all music is available at all time, which is fantastic but it does cheapen music a bit.

The good old days before mass immigration. I know that sounds racist as fuck but it's true.

I went to Wigan Pier in 1991 but couldn't get in so we stayed outside and danced to some cunt with speakers in his car. Still enjoyed myself on loads of wizz.

My fave DJ is Stu Allan. He had a dance show on the radio. He was the only radio DJ playing proper house music with mixes in 89. Everyone listened to him. Before the internet if you had the best rave tapes you were coolest kid in school : )
