If you're interested, Ireland was one of the first civilizations on earth to have a nobility, or noble class...going back 5,000 years. This would make us one of the oldest cultures on earth to have a hierarchical structure, along with the likes of the Sumerians. We know this because a more than 5,000 year old structure in Ireland known as "Newgrange" was used as a burial tomb for our ancient kings, the remains of many of which it has been noticed, showed signs of extensive inbreeding as would be common among the European nobility many centuries later.

Newgrange is older than Stonehenge in England and older than the Pyramids in Egypt. It consists of an astonishing 200,000 tons of stone...no, that's not a typo. 200,000 tons, much of which was quarried hundreds of miles away and somehow transported to Newgrange's current location long before the invention of the wheel. Furthermore, the central passageway of Newgrange was designed in the image of the constellation of Signus. Arthur C. Clarke described Newgrange as the oldest building in the world, which in fairness....it probably was, until the recent discovery of Gobekli Tepe in Turkey.
