My son is very intelligent. He was put forward to take the entrance exam for Oxford back in October. He didn't get in but was the only one put forward out of 150 in his year. He is 18 and every single exam he has done in his life he has got an A*, which is 90% or above. When he was 4 years old, but just about to enter school that September, he could say the alphabet from A to Z and then Z back to A just as quickly. I still can't say the alphabet from Z to A. He can name from memory every country in the world all 195 and their capitals also. My 2 brothers and 2 sisters have 2 degrees each. I only have an HND in chemical engineering which is almost a degree but not quite, and my wife worked in a factory and also a local bar, so his brains are exceptional.

You are for sure away ahead of my intellectual level, but in my defence also, we, being so far west in Europe, rather that in central Europe we were not taught so much stuff that would have been seen as irrelevant to where we lived,on the planet. Our history, we were mainly taught about what the English did to us over the past 800 years .
