Nah, I didn't know that but it makes perfectly good sense ... considering that it is a part of the French Republic. I had wondered where they were going to hold the event and if the quality of the waves would make it questionable. So, between you and me, the surfers can't complain about the break ~~~ everyone in the competition should have some experience riding this wave. And what a beautiful place to hold an Olympic competition ~~~ please, sign me up! What should my sign say? WILL WORK FOR A RIDE TO CHOPES ;)

yO riffster has the Northern Cal overcast weather returned Fall cant get here soon enough...yes im a native to these parts but have lived in NW Arkansas and Fargo ND...hA at "cringe" worthy twilight zone tv series...im also a fan of V the 80s tv series...that Diana was something else...sounds like your 4th was well spent...i was at the beach a few days ago and this group was beating on assortment of drums with hands very cool and otherworldly but very hypnotic and entrancing...felt very charmed by the beating array of rhythm and beats and to the side were these ladies dancing with lit hulu hoops and long rods w multi-layered lights in the night dusk-dawn...very gorgeous blonde and dark brunette was gonna say hi after 1 of them was dancing infront of me and had me in this magical twilight something that may read a little "corny" but i was bedazzled...i hope to see all of them again

I very much so like it..if i ever moved id like to move to Redondo beach or Colorado...hope your wife and you get a chance to visit soon...how was ur week

no i dont miss the bay area traffic and long lines, altho do miss a few people Ive known since forever. The busiest Ive ever seen the DMV here was when i had 4 ppl in front of me lol, usually its a quick stop but had to wait an entire 15 minutes! gasp*! haaha.. I hope you find a nice place to travel to, ..Id offer the bnb but i closed it this year bc I wanted the summer off. Ive cleaned it out and shampoo'd the carpets, Im getting ready to paint it soon but need more drop cloth. But maybe next year you can find your way up the mountain :)

COOL featured ... your harmonica fades in well. Supposedly, Colorado picked the purple to represent the Rocky Mountains or so they say. You'd have to look it up. I guess there's a story behind it. We lost to them, last night ... an extra-innings affair. We have the offense to compete, but our pitching lacks. You know that once football picks up ... people will lose interest. All's GOOD here and wishing you both the very same. Sometimes, it gets me in trouble (by not planning ahead) but I am a big believer that a NEW DAY can change our course and for the better. Yeah, those young kids remind me of a line from POINT BREAK (and I apologize for sharing it) ... when Keanu Reeves said to Gary Busey that SURFING was for little rubber people that can't shave yet. The young kids are limber and their new tricks are spot on. BUT THEY ARE FEARLESS TOO and that's a good thing. ENJOY a Good Tuesday out there. :)

yeah its still hot as a rocket but it has cooled down a bit so its do-able. Its the opposite here with the temps tho, its says it will be mid 90s and it ends up being mid 80s. So the forecast is being corrected in real time, sometimes in the last hour it will change to the actual temps outside. But because the forecasts are so off, it feels cooler than what we're expecting (because it is lol) Plus the high alt just makes everything feel fresher than the bay area humidity, i dont miss that at all! lol.

THANKS, for the clip. Remember Ryan Sheckler? All I recall is the young grommet who did well for himself. I think he still hangs around his native San Clemente. The clip you gave me reminds me of LORDS OF DOGTOWN and the crew scoping for empty pools (THANKS, in part, to the Cali water crisis). Not sure if you ever watched GLEAMING THE CUBE with Christian Slater ... I think he had someone with a small plane trying to find empty pools. The empty pools make me think of Tony Alva, Jay Adams, Tony Peralta and the ZEPHYR crew. Hope this finds all to be well for you both ~~~ ENJOY a nice Sunday and a great week ahead. Your featured?
