A Biden campaign official responded to Rep. Adam Schiff's call for the president to drop out by citing a July 8 letter to congressional Democrats affirming Biden's intention to stay the course.

The campaign also highlighted support from Democratic lawmakers, including the chairs of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and Congressional Black Caucus.
