yes, by time you are 5 most memories should be all but gone. When I worked w CPS and sow 3 to 5 y/o kids w night terror I always wonder if night terrors could be plaguing them. Once I worked w these 5 years old that was having terrible pain in her vagina and I had to report the family for possible sexual abuse but then it turned out she had been riding in the back of a motor bike w some relatives and she had injured herself but it wasn't all clear . The parents hated me... so I quit my job only 2 years in and decided i never wanted to work w kids any more. never again.
