Yes, it’s possible that guys like Branson are helping to fuel the race to find humans elsewhere and their sheer bravado will help kickstart that process. Although, egos still play a large part in wanting to accomplish such feats ... with Bezos soon to follow and Elon Musk thrown into the main mix. But I don’t see any cooperation amongst the powers that be and in finding us safely into space. Someday, we’ll have to do so and for survival ~~~ having f*caked up Earth beyond repair.
