Yes, I was born and grew up into adulthood in the UK in the bastardised statelet that has been so-called Northern Ireland. I have had a number of friends killed, one by the SAS, and I know maybe as many as 25–30 ex-IRA and INLA prisoners, probably more if I were to sit and think of them all for a few minutes. I too was harassed constantly as a young teenager and 20 something, as were all my friends. That we hate the British state was of their own making; they thought they were winning while creating another generation who maybe hated them even more than the previous one. The British are forever fucking it up against their better judgement. Thatcher refusing the hunger strikers their demands in 1981 started off  Sinn Fein as a party standing in elections, and now today they are the biggest party in the North and will also win the next election in the South, meaning on the island as a whole they will have the power. Thanks, Maggie, for the help and for getting everyone, including the moderates, backs up into hatred.
