from the USA weather I see, that seems to be about to happen,
today at my place -5F and by next Tuesday, maybe 38F , a lot of temperature swings which aren’t the normal

No complaints out here Blaine! Same old story. Getting some rain today. The weather has been very interchangeable lately. Really haven't hit the true cold days yet, but that's all relative. I'm sure if I told Jim I was cold, he would think it's balmy!

Yes, Blaine, well-applied EMPATHY can be or could be the salve that could soothe all ills ~~~ if applied in the right manner. We can empathize with someone or, perhaps, sympathize with their situation BUT it has to be done in a non-judgmental way. One cannot come off appearing to be sanctimonious.

Anyway, my Good Friend, the first weekend of 2025 finds us and I hope it finds you well. The sunset is forming here and just above it sits the waxing crescent moon. And next to that sits a bright visit from VENUS. I do miss her (Venus, that is) ... she was so kind to me, when I once was a Praetorian Guard. HA! Anyway, ENJOY whatever you may do and some of the last week of the NFL's regular season. ;)

Had my first AND LAST taste of some IPA over the holidays. Some Hazy stuff from Sierra Nevada Brewing and it was nasty! 6.7% ABV is a bit too much. Like sucking on a pine cone. No idea why people like that stuff.
