I need to start by saying that whatever feelings you are having around the pictures that Ned posted are valid. You have reasons to feel angry, disgusted and even betrayed by having someone that you knew, never mind liked post such images. I must admit that i didn't see all of them but even the ones that I saw were sexually suggestive. Images of children whether AI or real with a sexual content cannot be tolerated, normalized , justify never mind encourage anywhere .

We live in a society where at times children get objectified and sexualized. There are TV shows of little girls dressed as women in beauty pageants. This is a in my opinion a way that children get sexualize but such practice has been normalized in our culture.

When accessing if Ned is a pedophile one must take in to consideration his history w/in the community. Has he shown any behavior suggesting sexual attraction towards children? If the answer is NO this could mean. 1) the posting of the pictures was just a lapse in judgement because w in the realms of his culture such images are acceptable. 2) he could had reached a level of conform w in the community to showcase his sexual preferences in this particular case underage girls.
