I’m currently visiting my brother; he’s working at a stud farm run by Europe’s largest horse breeder.
It covers about 3,000 hectares and has around 4,000 mares and young horses, plus roughly 1,000 foals a year. With 500 employees, it’s absolutely massive... but I don’t like it here. It feels like mass production, somehow.

But very interesting—to see out from the inside for a change.

haha...thanks for switching over to Celsius. Do you guys use the decimal system in Canada, unlike your neighbours to the south? Shrinkage huh? So you came out of the water with a mere 9 inches? I understand, that WOULD be embarrassing. It's happened to me, one time when I went swimming in very cold water, when I came out of the water there were obvious signs of shrinkage. I noticed how...for awhile afterward, I no longer had to tie it around my leg after putting my clothes back on.

He's pretty damn good. Did you go swimming au naturel? Not sure why I'm asking you that. I guess, just to see how brave you are, if it was that cold. Although admittedly, I can never get the fucking hang of Fahrenheit.
