well, Cheryl, I'm glad that you enjoyed yourself in Lowell. I was born there, but raised in an outlying suburb. It has a rich history and due to its significant contribution to the Industrial Revolution. I'm sure they showed you the canal system ~~~ I'm always amazed that they created that through the blood, sweat, and tears of many a long ago immigrant. I'm not Irish, but many an Irishman left his or her mark on that city and within its mill buildings. Glad that you got to spend time on Martha's Vineyard. I have never been and have only seen its distant lights at night (from the shores of Dennis Port), but it's defo an idyllic Summer retreat. I'm sure that you were privy to the sights of Boston; Newbury Street, Boston Common, and the downtown Waterfront area. I've never been to Connecticut either, but New England has some beautiful places and I can see where you would have great memories. Yeah, I'd say that many are concerned about Huw's whereabouts. My hope is that he is well and said his usual "bollocks" about wasting his time on the Internet ~~~ and has just found himself elsewhere. I think the world is getting more monolingual,personally I like it,as a child who's a immigrant i can give my own personal eyewitness testimony and say that growing up speaking a different language is not fun at all,in fact it can be a burden not just a obstacle.if I had a gotten a computer earlier I would have learned the essentials that I needed for my aborted career in the funeral industry since on the inside it requires so much nitty gritty nuanced studying for so many things

I only knew his surname was Thomas, and I think he said he was from Llanelli ...anyway he is not the first we lose and wont be the last all we can do is try remember our friends with in better times.

well he had quite an irrepressible personality, and didnt get offended too easily so I doubt he was Trolled off the netz
