Holy Shit, it's been a while, Brah ~~~ how are things in your neck of the woods? I hope WELL. I hear you, on the state of affairs ~~~ not just this country's lack of direction, but our world in general. And I understand what you mean about the AMISH ~~~ I admire their self-sufficiency and, without attempting to blend into what is put forth as normal America, how they seemingly go about their daily life. I could probably rise early like they do and, possibly, complete a day of their WORK ... but I don't know if I could disconnect myself from the TECH that I am accustomed to.

How has the NEW YEAR 2024 been for you? I hope a GOOD ONE so far. Keep the FAITH and stay SAFE where you are. ENJOY what remains to APRIL ~~~ can't believe how fast time goes by us all.

I would be remiss to forget to wish you and yours a nice THANKSGIVING DAY. Not sure if you follow sports ardently, but the LIONS are having themselves a FINE season. I am happy to know that ~~~ Detroit has themselves a good coach and a solid QB in Jared Goff. Do you follow the NHL at all? It's weird how they have the RED WINGS in the Atlantic Division ~~~ possibly, because they have 3 of the other ORIGINAL SIX in the same division. Got tickets to a Bruins' game for next year ~~~ if we get there with all this world strife. If I happen to die, I can always blame it on Israel. HA! Have a nice Thanksgiving, my friend. :)

Just so that you know ~~~ can't fire em and can't even load them, but I am (or would be) a strong proponent of the SECOND AMENDMENT. I believe if the DEMS get their wish that we will be a society free of guns BUT one subject to a military with them. Not to sound cool or tough, but I can easily find myself a firearm in the city. HA! And that is what they want.
