I hear you on staying away from the malls ~~~ I always worry about some jerkoff opening fire in the FOOD COURT, but I still miss certain things about going there over the holidays ~~~ one of them is seeing the Mall Santa and they always get some realistic looking ones to play the part. Speaking of candy ~~~ I just ordered some fudge - for a friend's birthday - from a place called Mo's Fudge Factor (it's out in western Massachusetts) ~~~ chocolate caramel pecan fudge.

yes that is the place.. the man that started it was a leo * hence the name* lol he and his wife lived 5 houses down on the street i grew up on i worked for him and my mom worked at the barn around the corner he also owned leo passed away yrs ago so im guessing that the owner now is related to him best cheese steaks around.. thank you for what you said i mhealing well i get more and more use out of my hand every day some days its sore .. bc i try and do stuff like i didnt just have surgery 2 weeks ago...but i cant wait to get back to work the weather is so nice here but it will get cold no doubt...have a good weekend and happy turkey day

hey there em's hru? im healing good 4 days after the surgery i was able to move my fingers and this past monday the stiches came out.. it is still a little sore tho
I'm glad that you got results from being more proactive in your own care. It's unfortunate that one has to become their own healthcare advocate, BUT some of these practices are deaf to their patients' needs. It happens here and I see it. Even going to the emergency room can be a trip. They're either overwhelmed with patients or understaffed and I think they want things that are easy to diagnose (e.g., a broken bone). I feel bad for people with chronic issues or multiple health problems that seemingly have to be juggled and taken into account when making decisions. But GOOD FOR YOU in having your voice heard.
Anyways, Sierra, another weekend soon finds all of us and I hope this one finds you well ~~~ ENJOY it and next week's impending Thanksgiving Day holiday. I know that the following FRIDAY is a big shopping day for many people, but COVID and ONLINE SHOPPING pretty much killed the spontaneity that once was BLACK FRIDAY.

God's honest truth, I think you sharing your medical condition might help someone else ... it's also possible that you could come across someone going through the same thing and their suggestions might provide some welcomed relief ... plus, it's cathartic and it allows the person the chance to let things out ~~~ de-stress, so to speak. For example, some of these people suffering from LONG COVID have created webpages to share their experiences and seek relief. They weren't either getting the answers from their doctors or the government (HA! Fat chance on that one) ~~~ so they did what all people should do ~~~ find COMMON GROUND and one another.
Anyways, my friend, a new Wednesday finds you ~~~ I hope it finds you well. ENJOY!
Did you like the Christmas music? 'Cause that's all you're gonna hear for the next month or so. They actually probably already have radio stations doing the 24/7 Christmas crapfest. HA! No offense to the Baby Jesus and his birthday, but they who market things have surely ruined the true meaning of that holiday.
Yeah, don't fret the naysayers or those who intend you harm through their words ~~~ your main objective should be to get your leg straight ... sorry, no pun intended. In the long run, most of the people we meet ONLINE aren't going to be concerned about your everyday ... so you have to that for yourself. That being said; ENJOY yourself a relaxed night out there and whatever you may do to relax. :)
